Why open-spot reports expire
Automatic expiration prevents old parking observations from looking current.
When a group enables automatic expiration, an open report fades after the configured time without a fresh confirmation. Reconfirming an opening resets its timer.
Group administrators can change this under Group Settings → Open-spot reports.
