The problem

Street parking is frustrating

Circling the block after work wastes time, fuel, and patience.

Open spots disappear fast

By the time you drive past, the spot you saw is already gone.

Neighbors already help each other

Texts, group chats, shouted tips from the stoop — Spotlert just makes it organized.

A simpler way to share

Private groups

Each block runs its own invite-only group.

Fast spot reports

Two taps to tell neighbors a spot just opened.

Real-time updates

Spot changes appear to the whole group instantly.

How it works

  1. 1

Create a private group for your block.

  2. 2

Invite trusted neighbors with a code.

  3. 3

Report open spots as you see them.

  4. 4

Get notified when spots open near you.

Also for your household

Never text “where did you park?” again.

Save where you left the family car so everyone in your household knows where to find it — privately, and never shown to your parking group.

  • Park Here

Save the spot, and add a note like “Level 3, near the elevator”.

  • I’m Taking It

One tap tells the family who has the car right now.

  • Vehicle reminders

A shared list for oil changes, inspections, and registration.

Early access

Built with neighborhood feedback

Spotlert is actively being improved with feedback from city drivers and neighborhood communities. Early-access members help shape a simpler, more useful way to share parking updates.

A note on public parking

Spotlert does not reserve public parking and cannot guarantee that a reported spot is still available when you arrive. Availability is reported by your neighbors in good faith. Holding a spot is always voluntary and informal. Every driver remains responsible for following local parking laws, signs, meters, hydrants, and driveway rules.
